In this PV there's a few smaller or already dead Aeons show at the end, but the 7 main one are as follow: Each of them pursue a value, and anyone who also aim for those value become the followers of them. This trailer is showcasing the Aeons, you can think of them as Celestial Gods, they are beings with immeasurable power, and rulers of the universe. Their first reaction, even as a simulation, to seeing a living being they don't recognize is to immediately and wordlessly kill it. It is mentioned in the lore for the Annihilator Gang that Nanook does not direct their gaze towards people who enjoy killing and breaking stuff, because Nanook only values pure desire - destruction for its own sake, as opposed to destruction for pleasure or personal gain. Aeons don't really 'feel' anything so much as they are pulled by the necessities of their domain. You become the concept you represent, for better or worse. ![]() People approach the Aeons as being sort of like Genshin's Archons in that they treat them as individuals with independent personalities and such, but it honestly seems like you give up individuality when you ascend to Aeonhood. Lan is the only Aeon that seems to have arisen as a direct reaction to the Abundance, but in my opinion, it appears that the HSR universe seems to lean towards balance, and Lan's emergence may have really just been as a natural counterweight to Yaoshi. Nous, for example, is a computer it has no capacity for hate, but it is naturally opposed to Mythus simply because these two have directly opposed goals. They are diametrically opposed in existence, so they go against each other. I wouldn't really describe it as 'hate' because the Aeons are very simple and pure in their desires. ![]()
